Sunset Celebration
Key West is a city of native "Conchs", of sunworshipping transplants, and of vacationers in love with the island. Every night hundreds of people gather at the Mallory Square dock to watch the sun melt into the horizon and fill the sky with storybook colors. There are many forms of live music being performed, lovers holding hands, children playing, smells of conch fritters and fresh banana bread in the air and sailboats in the channel. We have been called a land that is mostly water and a sea that is mostly sky.
